Standardized Test Prep

Practice Exams

UF libraries have online practice tests for GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT and other standardized tests. These resources are currently available to those who have access to UF libraries via Gatorlink authentication.  Instructions for accessing practice exams.

GRE Preparation

Workshops which review the mathematics and verbal skills needed for the GRE are conducted at least once each Fall, Spring, and Summer term. The four 2-hour workshops cover the major topics tested by the exams. All sessions are free; however, you must register so that we may prepare the appropriate number of review materials. Students interested in additional tutoring may bring their questions and personal GRE review materials with them to our walk-in hours available in our Math Study Center.

Systematic Math Review Program

UF students who need assistance with mathematics but are not enrolled in a mathematics course should request help through our Systematic Math Review Program (self-help with assistance through drop-in tutoring at the Math Study Center). These students may not have had a mathematics course recently and want to review before enrolling for a math course, or they may want to prepare for the math portion of a standardized test. The students will be expected to work independently with materials provided by Academic Resources or materials they provide.

A Study Guide for College Level Academic Skills Test in Mathematics published by the State of Florida which covers many of the skills included on the GRE is available for download.  Some students choose to print these materials and bring them to the Math Study Center during open tutoring hours for assistance.
