The mission of Academic Resources at the University of Florida is to empower students to become successful lifelong learners.
Through a variety of services and instructional approaches, Academic Resources seeks to help students master effective ways of learning for different disciplines, including
The Academic Resources offers numerous resources, such as:
- Tutoring, both drop-in and by appointment.
- Supplemental instruction, facilitator-led study groups that are offered to support students taking certain, challenging courses each semester.
- Test reviews, which are conducted for several mathematics and other courses.
- Language Studio, which provides multimedia support to language students at the University of Florida
- Testing services for the Foreign Language Proficiency exam
- Video resources, which cover a wide range of topics such as time management, notetaking, goal setting, test anxiety, reading speed and comprehension, and more.
