VSI is Academic Resources’ newest program implementing the latest research in learning and technology to support student academic needs on campus and at a distance. We are meeting the challenge of supporting students when they are away from the classroom. Whether in their dorm rooms, libraries, apartments in Gainesville, or halfway around the world, students can access learning assistance on-demand 24 hours a day through our robust online media presence.
Academic Resources uses social media including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to connect with students when they are studying – the precise time when they benefit the most from learning support. Also, most VSI resources can be embedded directly into the Canvas Learning Management System where we take advantage of the latest advancements by UF’s LSS team.
Interactive Exams
Watch Academic Resources SI leaders and tutors solve individual problems from actual old exams which are provided by the professors who wrote them. This is a tool designed to help students identify the areas they need to improve. Used correctly, these materials provide proven, research-based academic success. We strongly recommend that students try to solve the problems on their own before watching the video solutions.
